The Poetry Of
Moon's Cafe'

GODDESS OF THE NIGHT
Through starlit sky I fly
With wings of mystik smoke
On my face, the wind's caress
My back do shivers stroke
Past Cassiopia and Athena fair
And the moon does fill my sight
To open arms and sweet embrace
of my dear Goddess of the night

Tempting fate i fly on
Ripping my way though gloom
Ever eluding, ever avoiding
The finiality of the tome
Though my hair i feel the fingers
the shivers of dark delight
i give my all, heart and soul
to my dear Goddess of the night

KNIGHTLY FELLOWSHIP
Into knightly fellowship we walk,
With philosophical weight we talk,
We sip warm drink to race our intellect
Young men with old minds, debate and reflect

Can the past be set right or future altered?
Where did we stray, when did we falter?
Are our wars fought for truth or bag of coin?
What of this damsel, should we break or join?

Nicotine and caffeine and touch of liquor,
Conversation will flow free for hours for sure,
Deep into the night and 'til the next day
We'll finally be silent, and I'll go my own way.

MUSIC OF THE GODS
Rhythm with rhyme
Rhyme seen not heard
Voice with no word
Profound, absurd

Feel the Pulse
Beat of essence
Pounding in chest
Driving with no rest

Bright strings lightly cascading
Over the length of my soul
The deep sound of the cello
Sends warm waves down my spine
I am taken away by the music
Of the Gods on a river of milk
