Title: A Lover's Tear
Writer: Tammy Harrison

Have you ever wondered
What becomes
Of a Lover's tear ?

You can hear the cries
Of the lonely,
In every seashell near.

Sometimes...
It sounds like whispers
Echoing in the night.

The tide gently rushing in,
The waves dancing
In the moonlight.

Sometimes...
It sounds like laughter
Of a playful child.

Ranting and raving,
As the tension builds,
Growing uncontrollably wild.

As you wade in the midst
Of the briny ocean,
Listen, and you will hear...

The sounds
Of a thousand lost souls
Drowning in a Lover's tear.
