Title: When Your Heart Seems Asleep
Writer: Minerva T. Bloom

I can only say that your heart seems asleep
but it's listening
brewing poetic enchantment
into the fertile creativity of my sensitivity.

It seeks and works
the moist corridors of love's mystical stone
fingers and elbows swirling a conception of forms
four elements shaping the whole.

Your heart seems asleep
but it's smoldering in hot lava flow
giving new meaning to my mind's wild horse
offering
to the altars of my choice:
A molten of mineral-rich-soil.

Here...

I thrive and grow
as elemental as fire.

Your heart seems asleep
but it's journeying
to the beauty of my land's tall trees
singing near the garden
of fragrant opulent scents
to the smooth wine of a canary

It goes charging into the road
and beholds with a silent gaze
penetrating
a visual communion
in the lives of those I will not impose!

They say that your hearts seems asleep
but it's drenching
a carnation of luscious spice
delivering the children
into a bed of lavender
and tearing down my guise.

Here...

In sacred surrender
folded around you
there is a universe of primitive senses.

(I'm greatly enjoying
the practice of hight touch).

Your heart seems asleep
but it's unfolding the ferns
tickling thick fronds
playing
their inner guitar with emotion and force
into an act of connecting
your strength to my flow.

Barriers melting
veils peeling like sweet Vidalia onions
the heart
seems
asleep...

But it's dressing up, darling
with wild-cat skin
savoring the magic:
