Title: Distance
Writer: David E. Turner
Gazing into the auburn sky,
I still can't see you.
Relying on memories pictures of you.
Standing on the lake side stranded and I,
watch the moon begin to settle and I,
can only think of sharing the moment but I,
am left with a single reflection.
Watching as dawn kisses the dew,
the sunrise we swore we'd see together,
the time that I said it would be forever,
but forever is surviving without you.
Distance in the miles in the moments,
So far away from our emotions,
We look into each others eyes,
and see only 1 reflection.
