Title: For Fear Of Thine Own Self
Writer: Tammy Harrison

Oh !
Dearest true love...
I beseech thee !
Do not occlude the portal
To thine heart.

Thou hadst beheld
The desire I contain.
Doest thou not behold
The love I have for thee as well ?
Hadst thine once dilacerated heart
Caused thee to be blind ?

Thy frightened heart hesitates.
Could it be...
Rejection is thy fear ?
Wherefore,
Does this justify thine actions ?
Doest thou have
The divine authority
To abrogate mine heart ?

Truly,
I abdicate this query.
For thou art the keeper
Of no man's soul...
Merely that of my undying love.

Thou art able
To shun me from visibility,
By downcasting thine eyes afar.
Does this make thine heart
Release thy devotion to me ?
Alas !
Once again...
I beseech thee !

Never deny my love,
For fear of thine own self.
