Title: What a Friend Should Be
Writer: Greg V. Wright

A friend should be an anchor
When lifes boat begins to rock,
A friend should be a shepard
When the sheep has lost its flock.

When you feel your sad and blue
And the world has let you down,
A friend should be a lifeguard
Who'll rescue you before you drown.

A friend should be a diary
With a lock and just one key,
Who'll keep your secrets safe inside
So no one else will see.

When things are well and going fine
And with each day a new song you bring,
A friend should be there by your side
To hear the words you sing.

So when I'm lonely, sad, or confused
Or when things are going great for me,
I turn to the one I trust the most
You are what a friend should be.
