Title: There Will Be Time For Love In Spring
Writer: Robert Radcliffe
My heart was lost in winter ere you came
Frozen fast beyond the rays of sun
Until the night I saw you in the flame
And at once my icy curse was fast undone
I saw within your eyes the light of love
And winter dwelled no longer, only spring
Could I advance, adorned in Cupid's glove
Then take your hand, and song of lovers sing
Could, perchance, I grace your lips with mine
And embrace in rosy, moist and lusty kiss
As our bodies and our minds would intertwine
And both of us would share the lover's bliss
But my springtime flower, swept by passions tide
Did court another, the cruelest lover's crime
Yet by your heart I shall not be denied
There will be time for love in spring, there will be time
