Title: My Dear Girl
Writer: Keith Allen Barbuti

My dear girl
you are far away
and i love you

The wrath of ours came full circle
from that triangle to which we owe
this union
Twists of fate make me love you
all the more
Our weeds are twisting

My dear girl
your body is far away from mine
so let me speak plainly:
Since our first day
no doubt
your senses have captured me
unarmed
and willingly I have surrendered to you
My dear
boyishly have i ran with you
your laughter fueling mine
only then to be felled by your Autumn eyes
such lovely eyes

Let me speak now of things more physical:
A touch of your hand
an arm
the curve of your thigh
and hip
the way i leisured there
giving praise to each part
Woman
i have become parched from thirsting your water
obsessed from wanting your cup
so carelessly
I drink you

My dear allow me to sing now of your mind
for it is that thing to which I am
most attracted
The clever wit of your satire
and the warmness of your sentiment
Your passion for words
and sound
The importance you place on
Family
The way you perceive
love and romance
Also
the sincerity
of your emotion
A mind so like my own
mine aches when yours is away

My dear girl
you are far away
and i realize
I love you
