Title: My Friend
Writer: Cindy Canova Giles

It's been years as our journey of friends have begun,
And through those years we shared sorrow and fun.
We take for granted who we see everyday,
Never stopping to think, they'll be taken away.
Life seems so quick when death is at your door,
So let me tell you what life is really for.
For the Love of God,the Laws of the land, kindness to all,a helping hand,
Unconditional love and respect,a kiss, a handshake, a hug around the neck.
Friendship is priceless with friends like you,
To always count on, your words were true.
My life will go on as I so hope,
And daily I'll wonder "How will I cope'?
You are a part of so many lives,
You'll be sorrowfully missed, They'll be no dry eyes.
But as all good things must sadly end,
Even in death you'll always be 'My Friend".
