Title: Poet Friend
Writer: Ellen Fair

the hands of fate so often wait
when dreams are lost in flight
yet dreams go on and fate responds
to those predestined sights
and as I soar beyond the door
of those dreams, my paradise
I extend to you my friendship true
a trust that shall not die

of kindred souls, oh yes we know
our hearts did beat as one
but worlds unfold and dreams are told
the canvas yet undrawn
it is true, my friend, time does not end
for spirits in their flight
so as friends we go beyond time's door
and we search for someday's light

and we understand, as hand in hand
and heart in heart we flew
we own that dream together now...
forever, me and you
