You stole my heart Two years ago And I knew from the start That our friendship would grow

We worked with each other For a little while Which threw our emotions Down that friendship mile

When I was no longer there You picked up the phone Thinking you would take a dare To see what was going on

Couple of days went by Didn't hear a word from you Then at work you stopped by And asked me what was there to do?

Well that didn't last Maybe a couple of days But we were back to the past Where our friendship was just a maze

I really hated to see you Every time from then on Because we both knew Our friendship was gone

That night at the lake You came up to me to talk Everything you said was fake Or that is at least what I thought

From that night on Things have been great I am never alone Because I know I have found my mate

Just 3 months you say That seems like eternity I'll be counting the days Until you finally come back to me

Just remember 3 months from now We will be together What took 2 years to be found Will last FOREVER
