The program for this second year project was to visualize a block of short term housing for visiting faculty. Each member of the lab was given one out of seven plots on which to design a small cottage. This design attempts to maximize the perception of openess in a very limited space. This is in part acheived by a two story southern glass facade, which also maximizes winter heat gain.
