Haiku

Hana no ue...........................Above the flowers
Haru no yume aru................There exists a dream of spring
Aoi sora..............................The ever blue sky

Yellow leaf resting
in the hood of her parka
Autumn comes again

Summer rains subside
Rice stalks stretch toward the sky
Farmers bow their heads

Bon-odori

In the smoke rising
from the yakitori stall,
a butterfly -- Dance!
