On the Importance of Philosophy
I say to you
if a tree falls
in the forest
and we are not there
to see or hear it
never, never, never
will it make a difference
at all
I say if a single blade of grass
grows within our sight
it is more important
than an entire forest
falling in the void
of our perception
I say
if the sound of my voice
carries to your ear
it is more important
than a billion stars
exploding in the void
of our universe
Sound is in the ear
Sight is in the eye
Philosophy changes nothing
