FESTIVAL DE LIBRE ENGANCHE | ||
Jump-Start Performance Co. // Documented by La Ce.D | JUNE 3-20 1999 |
What does "Libre Enganche" mean? Well, libre means free. Enganche means a connection or some device hitching things together. Indeed, this festival is a device encouraging a free partnership beetween artists of mexican descent from both sides of the border. The festival is a series of performances and visual art exhibitions that challenge and contradict old and new forms of repression and exploitation. |
