I'm insane,
or that's what they call me,
I'm whatever I want me to be.

I'm here, but my mind's far away,
I hate reality,
in dreamland,
I'll stay.

Don't reject me
if I'm not like you.

You're crazy too.

To some I'm just odd,
to some I'm just fine,
to some I'm a moron,
but my insanity's mine!

You can't have it or take it away,
it's here with me and here to stay.
Lock me away, throw out the key,
you can contain my body,
but you can't contain me.

My body is captive,
my spirit is free,
no, I'm not crazy,
I'm misunderstood.
Don't you see?

You can't you know,
no matter how hard you try,
If you try your whole life,
you'll never, ever, be as "out there" as I.

I'm insane, crazy, dillusional,
twisted, strange, odd,
psychotic, creative, abnormal,
