Lantern

Taste my rage, savour my pain,
Trapped in a cage, I'm going insane.
Over time, it has become my shelter, so safe and so small,
Through the darkness I have realised, where u can't stand,
u can't fall.

Taste my wine, my bitter-sweet, sick blood,
Draw back the lines, let your horrors flood.
"You can be a king if u want, you can be anything!"
Or maybe just another diamond, studded on the devils ring.

Can u smell my truth, so sweet and so faint?
Now INHALE MY LIES, like fumes from boiling paint.
Don't expect otherwise...
Do I look like a saint???

I want to see some light, so get the rope and break my neck,
Here comes the boat of sweet death, let's all jump onto the
deck.
Let it take us to places, where we could never have gone
before,
But don't leave any traces, because you can't go back for
more.

Don't get scared, just try to enjoy your stay,
make the best of it, because you can't run away.
Hell is here, the Devils near,
YOU SINNED, so take back all those tears.

Wake up now, but it wasn't a dream,
you spilt your tears, I heard your screams.
So don't you ever again say you're strong,
Because I'm always going to be there,
To prove you wrong.
