Raven

One day Eagle was flying in the sky
He was lonely
As his mate had left him,
And he hoped to fill the void in his heart
So he looked down
To the humans below,
And chose the most beautiful of them all,
He swooped down and took her
In his talons,
And he carried her of to his nest

She stayed there, when he was there,
When he was not
Sometimes she laughed,
Sometimes she cried,
but I don't know why
For she sometimes cried
When he was there, and sometimes
Laughed when he was not

I saw all this
For I am Raven
I do not like to see this beautiful creature cry
I do not like to see her suffer
But I am at a loss
I do not know if I should take her
Away from this unhappy place,
For if I did, where would she go?
Would she be happy? would she yet cry?

These things I do not know,
So I leave her alone
But when she cries,
I too sit at home,
And cry

...Alone
