| Feeling as if crying Sadness overwhelming Hiding in corners Frightened to see Dwelling on unhappiness Worried for others Wanting for happiness Yet what can be done Keeping an eye on things Tears falling from smoky eyes I cannot go on as such Cannot reside alone I need to do more To care for more To be more And to love more So I carry on hiding From the sadness of life With pearl tears presiding And still I remain alone |
