They

They
Run run run
Hide from it
Make safe your soul
It steals, It kills,
It finds

Closets will not help
Keep moving away
When it arrives it will attack
Marring nothing but your heart
Taking your love
Eating all of your pride

Your soul would die
Leaving but an empty shell
Then stealing your soul bit by bit
Then to leave you feeling safe
Only to return once more

Piece by piece your soul is torn apart
Taken by all of society
Oh hide, before nothing remains
Hide it well, for they will come
To destroy you with their words

They came and tried to destroy me many times
And many times they failed
I turned my back and kept my tears
But now I must be careful
For some day the tears will be too much
Causing my own destruction
Then, they will have won anyhow
