ABOUT THE ARTIST
She grew up in the Pacific Northwest. Mostly around
Seattle and Bainbridge Island. She is part native American Indian and
Scandinavian as well as English. She did art from about the age of
three or four her mother and father were a great influence,as they
both were artists themselves.
Some time in the late sixties she enrolled at Seattle Community
College majoring in art. Some of her major influences there were
Mr. Bernstein and Frank Teele; She never forgot their help.
After that she joined various art groups where she got involved in
the music, theater and some dance, mostly on the island.
Later she moved around a lot until 1984 when her father died. At
that point she decided to go out and explore some of the rest of
the world ending up in a a little third world country called
Jamaica. There she learned a lot about herself and a lot about
others. She was there about a year, then came back to the Pacific
Northwest for a couple of months and decided to travel some more
ending up in Trinidad CO., where she did her first mural, and became well established!
