my statements of belief
specific beliefs:
my belief about denominations (or...my denomination)
I am PRO-LIFE (my stand on the abortion issue)
I am a virgin and will remain one until marriage
I have never drunk alcohol and never will
I think that homosexuality is a sin

My denomination
I do not have a specific denomination that I claim
to belong to. Rather, I have a personal relationship
with the God who created the universe. I believe that
a lot of denominations are nothing but politics that
have creeped their way into the church. They are simply
a tool for the devil to tear apart the body of God. So,
I do not claim a specific denomination.
But, as some people want, you have to have a denomination that I lead towards. I would probably say I lean towards protestant as far as beliefs go.

I am a virgin
I have made a promise to my
God that I will not
disobey His word by committing fornication. Sex was a
beautiful creation but has been perverted by the devil.
Sex was created for enjoyment (and to "Make two one
flesh") between two married people. Sex will also mean
a whole lot more when done within the confines of
marriage.

I have never drunk alcohol
I have made a promise to God and to myself that I
would never drink alcohol. Alcohol makes people do
things that they would not normally do. I want to be
in control of my actions at all times. I am also a
child of the living God (and my body is the temple of
the Holy Ghost), I need to watch what I do.
Many people say that they'll take an occassional drink. But what I say is that to drink any alcohol could give other people the wrong impression about you. And the Bible says that we are to flee even the appearance of evil.
