BILLY'S HOLLYWOOD SCREEN KISS (Tommy O'Haver, 1998) *1/2
A debut film from O'Haver and it shows. Basically an "is he or isn't he gay?" movie with scads of underdevelopment tacked on. B-list drag queens show up for the requisite song and dance numbers for the soundtrack.
There is no appeal to the photographer who remains oblivious to the attention of others around him in his pursuit of the cocktease ingenue model. His photography, the scavenging of Hollywood movie scenes but transmogrified with gay male protagonists, is uninteresting as presented. This may dream of Hollywood but won't travel far beyond those in the gay ghetto looking for a timewaster.
