Peace

Peace will not come to a world so destroyed.
We tried to warn you, but you shut out our noise.
So I was sent from the heavens above, to clean things up with thorn adorned gloves.
I've picked people up when their souls needed rest.
I've thrown people down who thought they were best.
I endure your tortures, so easily torn.
You laugh while I cry, then for you no one mourns.
The pain and the torture I hold deep inside is nothing compared to your sweet
genocide.

Angel

I am the one they fear the most, not human, nor un, not demon or ghost.
I am the bringer of all that is real, a shadowy nightmare, an angel of fear.
Dressed in all black I chose no sides, eyes dark as night a piercing surprise.
I raise my hand to the innocent child, my voice when it cries stirs the sleeping wild.
I kill without mercy, an unlikely job, for someone whose spirit came from the Gods.
But it were these I was given, few gifts but all true, with silver eyes I see through you.
I can build up an empire and destroy it in a day, I can give life to a newborn then
steal it away.
My workload is heavy a tiresome game, to which many play but never do they gain.
For I always win, it is my fate, to care for all creatures with undying hate.
Love is a word which I seldomly use, for few know this words pain and abuse.
But I tell you this now, my name you'll not guess, for angels deceive you into
believing the best.
