The Carrington's are a talented family. I have found "cousins" from quite a few states that are of the "artistic bent". So I feel like this is a part of our heritage. Even if we are not directly related...we are still family! Of course, the only pictures that I have are of my own family...but I am going to start "hitting up" some of these other talented "cousins" for some pictures! I have records that show that my Ggg-grandfather was a carpenter.....so I guess that you could say that some of this was "passed down" in the genes. This first picture is of the cabin in Arkansas that my brother Rod Carrington built. Pretty amazing...eh? He felled the trees himself and finished them...well he did have some help! His wife, Susan and Steve Carrington(another cousin!), plus good friends....yes it was like an old-time "barn raising"!! Anyway...the point is that he built it himself.
