FireDragon

'Fire Dragon' by Pasha

Let's take a closer look at "Fire Dragon". In my opinion, the landscape in this painting represents the subterranean depths we like to call "self". The miasma of colours conceals and charts our struggle to understand, to love,to be; to stand still and listen to the soul's plaintive cries: I need, I want, I love, I know, I feel, ...

Black is both friend and foe. The fickle friend we invite to conceal a fragile "self" that is to shy to embrace the light. A foe we despise who taunts us with our fears , with what we do not understand.

Yellow is light. It illuminates and comforts. It is companionship and understanding. Yellow lights our path and represents our hope.

Close your eyes, my friends. This painting is not static. It is powerful - mesmorizing - confronting - evolving and exploring. It is life pulsing through you. Now we can meet the "Dragon". The "Fire Dragon".

Now we are ready to feel RED. Fire is powerful. A grand majestic force that comforts, terrifies, destroys and creates. The Dragon breathes fire into our souls. The Dragon fires our psyche...

This Dragon is searching. This Dragon is burning away the layers of consciousness within you. Fire cleanses, it purifies. Fire destroys and then regenerates. Look at the Dragon. See through the camouflage. Can you see it ? The "eye" of the Dragon is alert and watchful. The "I" is changing, consciousness is in a constant state of flux.

Think about FIRE. Stop to feel FIRE. WATCH the Dragon carefully - he is roaming...

A mind awakened by a glorious thought...FIRE

The heart stirred by a lover's gentle caress...FIRE

Feeling another's pain...FIRE

Sharing another's joy...FIRE

Blood coursing through veins...FIRE

The "Fire Dragon" soars through the tumult.

FIRE in "EYE"

FIRE in "I"
