I am paternally half Puerto Rican and maternally half german and I am interested in exploring my Puerto Rican heritage, especially since I was actually born and raised on the north side of Chicago, and I d d enjoy your website and I do plan on returning to it from time to time for the authentic Puerto Rican recipes. I hope to visite Puerto Rico some day and perhaps try to locate some members from the paternal side of my family. The paternal family name is Santiago but I am reasonably certain that it is a fairly common hispanic name. Any suggestions that you might have on where or how to begin a search for lost family in Puerto Rico would be great appriciated. Start your search with the town where your father was born. |
