Bus Take Me Away

I´ve seen the bloodred sun dying

I´ve seen unhappy people everywhere

I´ve seen the snow melting so sad

I´ve seen so much oh I don´t care

I´ve seen a hungry crow

I´ve seen a rabbit that´s been killed

I´ve seen a lonely buzzard

And I´ve seen soldiers in the field

All these things don´t appeal to me

I only see the pain that´s more than I can say

I wanna close my eyes

Bus, take me away

I´ve seen the building growing

I´ve seen the fire brigade

I´ve seen some children crying

I´ve seen the fog about to fade

I´ve seen two people walking

Together hand in hand

I´ve also seen this friendship

Being born and having found an end

All these things don´t hurt me

As thoughts of you hurt every day

I think I can´t take it anymore

Bus, please take me away

I´ve seen your green eyes shining

I´ve seen you disappear

I´ve seen a million different people

But I can´t see you here

I´ve seen a sign that´s showing

The way to where you are

I´ve seen the day´s last ray of sun

And the night´s first star

As long as I will take this road

I won´t stop to pray

Take me back into your arms again

Bus, take me away

Please take me away.

Don´t fall in love with a Ladies´Man

His gentle eyes will make you weak

Turn you to wax in his tender hand

Women fall down on their knees

And men can´t understand

He´s got the girls by the number

Soft, lean and wearing southern hair

But girls, let me tell you this

He´ll drop you when you´re unaware

He leaves you sad and crying

By himself not knowing why

But Ladies´ Man, beware

You won´t get ME to cry

Don´t fall in love with a Ladies´Man

He´s good for just one happy eve

A thousand tears aren´t worth one night

And you´re the one he´s gonna leave.

Little Black Wings

Little Black Wings, I saw you tonight

Your eyes like crystal lakes

Your voice resounding in my ears

Until the morning breaks

You led the dust and fog clouds

Out of the night´s dark cover

High above the ground you stood

Black Wings, be my lover

Hiding in black, hiding in grey

No-one would notice you by day

But when the sun has left the world

You change in every way

Little Black Wings, toss your head

Pound the soil beneath your feet

Mesmerize with your eyes

Make the room boil in the heat

Little Black Wings, now you´re gone

But your presence still remains

Like the aura of new hope

That freed me from my chains

On the Rocks

Can you feel the breeze

Blowing straight into your face

As I can feel it in this

Lonely place

Standing there on the plateau

All alone now with the wind

And a slightly growing pain

Deep within

I know I should forget you

But hell, I wish I could

Now, I´m imprisoned in my feelings

Guess, it is for good

From the very moment on I knew

That eyes never should have met

Your tender laughter and your smile

Don´t make it easy to forget

If I could only hate you but I can´t

So I lie awake ´most every night

And I know I´ll never reach you

Deep inside

There´s this girl by your side

She won´t ever let you go

That I love you with all my heart

You´ll surely never know

So I´m standing on the rocks

Cryin´in the rain

That no-one ´ll ever see my tears

No-one can hear the pain

Hell, I love you, pal.

Tollwood ´96

the wind plays its song

within your woodstock chimes

I see a thousand little stars

in these eyes of thine

incense´s in the air

the night´s smooth chilling breeze

blows through my big bird´s feathers

in a night like this

some giant blocks carved of ice

slowly melting away

showing what they had hidden inside

during the twilight of the day

you´re by my side

your eyes reflect the colours

of a caleidoscope

in a tent warmed by your presence

and the air of love and hope

hear silver bells jingle

and soft tunes of spirituality

hand in hand between cloth and beads

big bird is walking next to me

you made this night a present

as it only christmas brings

a present ending with a kiss

within your giant wings

Watched You in Your Sleep

While the moon looks through our window

I hear the whispering of the little creek

And the moonbeams just like I do

Are watching you in your sleep

Safe and sound your head is resting

In the shelter of my arm

Sleep tight and be at ease

I´ll protect you, keep you warm

Never have I ever seen

Someone as beautiful as you

With raven looks and chestnut eyes

Can`t believe a dream come true

In the dead of the night

I can feel you breathing close to me

Your features full of innocence

More than you could ever be

I thank the Lord for those few moments

When all your secrets seem to open up

Before my eyes

In our sleep, we are what we are

Without the cruel day`s disguise

from Doreen`s homepage:

Death of an innocent

I went to a party, Mom,
I remembered what you said.
You told me not to drink, Mom,
so I drank soda instead.

I really felt proud inside, Mom,
the way you said I would.
I didn't drink and drive, Mom,
even though the others said I should.

I know I did the right thing, Mom,
I know you are always right.
Now the party is finally ending, Mom,
as everyone is driving out of sight.

As I got into my car, Mom,
I knew I'd get home in one piece.
Because of the way you raised me,
so responsible and sweet.

I started to drive away, Mom,
but as I pulled out into the road,
the other car didn't see me, Mom,
and hit me like a load.

As I lay there on the pavement, Mom,
I hear the policeman say,
the other guy is drunk, Mom,
and now I'm the one who will pay.

I'm lying here dying, Mom.
I wish you'd get here soon.
How could this happen to me, Mom?

last, but not least, a nice one I received from Sabrina:

Friends without faces

We sit and we type, and we stare at our screens

We all have to wonder, what this possibly means.

With our mouse we roam, through the rooms in a maze

Looking for something or someone, as we sit in a daze.

We chat with each other, we type all our woes

Small groups we do form, and gang up on our foes.

We wait for somebody, to type out our name

We want recognition, but it is always the same.

We give kisses and hugs, and sometimes flirt

In IRC we chat deeply, and reveal why we hurt.

We do form friendships - but - why we don't know

But some of these friendships, will flourish and grow.

Why is it on screen, we can be so bold

Telling our secrets, that have never been told.

Why is it we share, the thoughts in our mind

With those we can't see, as though we were blind.

The answer is simple, it is as clear as a bell.

We all have our problems, and need someone to tell.

We can't tell real people, but tell someone we must

So we turn to the 'puter, and to those we can trust.

Even though it is crazy, the truth still remains

They are Friends Without Faces, and odd little names.
