These caricatures and those that follow are unfinished, "raw" pencil sketches. To create a finished, inked drawing, I usually lightly trace the pencil sketch, sometimes enlarging it too. I use an inexpensive small light box from Dick Blick for tracing.

To enlarge I use an "Artograph" projector. Or I use my scanner, Photoshop, and printer; then trace.

For the finished inking I prefer a good small brush and black ink. Sometimes I use a felt pen.
