I was born in NE Oklahoma, home of Mickey Mantle. Mickey had younger twin brothers and one of them, Roy was my boyfriend in the 3rd grade. My claim to fame! My family moved to California when I was 9. I married in California and we moved to Oregon in 1959. Been there ever since. I have traveled extensively to visit my 2 sons, a daughter, a daughter-in-love, and ten grandchildren, ranging in ages (at this time) from 23 to 9 years old. I've been divorced for 20 years. For the past 18 years I have lived with my mom on her farm. We have cattle, dogs and cats. I love to cook (and eat). All my family is scattered across the U.S. (as mentioned above) so, I make do with baking cookies for my brothers 4 grand kids, who all live on my mom's property too. I'm retired, but telecommute with my old employer for spending money in the face of the fixed (read decreased) retirement income. I love to spend time talking with everyone who comes in the #Normal_Chat Room.

HotSummerNights has lived all over the US, most recently in Southern California, New York and now Central Florida. I have been married forever to Highlander, the most wonderful man, and we have 6 children and 1 Grandson. I am of an undisclosed age :), a semi-retired banker dabbling in the investments, a semi-retired concert pianist and, hopefully, a soon-to-be published author. I enjoy being active in my church where I am the Youth Choir director and a Sunday school teacher. In my 'spare time' I like to fly (I have my private license) and go motor yachting. I have made a lot of GREAT friends in mIRC and look forward to making more! I can usually be found in mIRC evenings and weekends.
