In between these two pictures quite a lot happened. To me and to the world in general. I grew older, went to primary school and after that to Grammar school, that's where I had some wonderful teachers. Two of them were (or partly still are) English teachers, so they are responsible for my love for the English language and some other English stuff.
This is the place where I grew up. A village somewhere in Germany. You're standing on our balcony right now.

These are my parents and my brother Raphael. We all like Israel a lot. When we were there we had to be careful not to lose him as he didn't stick out at all. Especially not when he was wearing his Israeli army shirt.
On this picture you can see two things:
1. We were three kids at home. My brother, my foster brother Oli and me. Oli stayed with us every weekday; I loved having another part-time brother.
2. We used to have plenty of snow when I was young... mainly in the winter.
These are two other children I grew up with. Özlem and Koray. I adored them because they were already at school and were so much fun. Koray showed me how to whistle trough your teeth and I loved talking to Özlem as she was so sensible and seemed to know everything. Rafi's the chap on the tricycle and I'm wearing the red T-shirt.
Özlem and Koray were two of my grandmother's foster children. She had plenty of them, sometimes five at a time. I enjoyed that a lot, of course.
This is the grandmother I was talking about. The picture was taken for my grandparents' golden wedding. My grandmother and Queen Elizabeth were married in the same year (1947) with the difference that Queen Elizabeth married a German... my grandfather was from Hungary. Sadly he's died last year.
These are my other grandparents, my father's parents. Unfortunately they died many years ago - I miss them very much.
After Grammar school I went to Pforzheim University in order to study Human Resources Management, which I did more or less successfully. Currently I'm living in Manchester, England. A smashing place. And, I am working in Liverpool. Another smashing place.
There's more to come.
