INDEX | vai alla VERSIONE ITALIANA |
These photographs have been realized with the anaglyph technique, that consists in superposing the two images of the stereoscopic vision on the same support, conventionally filtering the left image with a red filter and the right image with a green or blue filter. Blue is preferred for images that are to be seen on monitors, so also I chose the convention LEFT=RED and RIGHT= BLUE.The resulting image appears frayed out if seen with the naked eye, but it provides a very good three-dimensional view if you put a red filter in front of the left eye and a blue filter in front of the right eye.
You can use any kind of glass or gelatine filters, holding them in front of your eyes or making a frame for them out of thin pasteboard.
You can find ready made red/blue glasses on the market, either with a traditional frame or with a thin pasteboard frame (at a very low price); you can also get glasses in some publications which you can find at news-agents and bookshops (Be sure that the "3D" sign refers to the vision with red and blue glasses and that they are included!). Please give a look at my links for a font of 3-D material around the world. Send me an E-Mail if you need help to find 3-D material in Italy. If you are interested in this topic, write anaglyph in an International Research Engine or
anaglifo in an Italian Research Engine
and you will be surprised of how many images and how much material you will find.

These are only some tests. I'll add better anaglyphs as soon as possible. = NEW
