~~~~ Falling in Color ~~~~~

The sunshine of spring fades quietly over the horizon......soft lips of summer kiss her cheek goodbye while higher above, lingering in the wind..... a leaf cast's color to the clouds ahigh. Rythmic murmurs laced with ochre and sienna, beckon fall's palm with a soft sigh. Shared embrace of yesteryear sent.... quietly approaching, cheek to cheek, tongues licking time toward future intent. Ebb of spirit's and heart's smooth smile, floating feather, fallen leaf - she hums a song. Bowing to the ground, tresses hiding her face..... her body marked, ivory skin chilled by cool air and words engraved deeply. Etched in her mind, in her body and her soul, love surrenders its voice… murmuring its known melodic tone.

Faint fall light shimmers warmly upon two leaves laying quietly along nature’s trail. Knowing no time they have passed the spring’s morning…..bathed in the summers rains and heat, now caressing the vibrant colors of autumn…. They blend together harmoniously….. their edges touching in delight…. As if to hold each other in reassurance as the cold northern wind approaches. Time giving way to wisdom, seasons giving way to change….spiraling into clarity with growth’s kiss. Sweet surrender.
