The Princess Bride

   This is my all-time favorite movie! 
   I also have read the book.  
   This movie has it all:  Action, Comedy, Suspense, 
   Torture, Cameos, Puzzles, 
             and True Love.  I think i might make a test soon...

And The Band Played On

This is the story of the early years of the AIDS epidemic.
It still gives me the goosebumps everytime I watch it.  
The cast is like a who's who of the acting world.  
Brilliant.

Amistad

The only movie that made me bawl in the movie theatre.  
I think....but anyway, it has a breathtaking beginning.
The writing is superb and I feel it should have been
at least nominated for Movie of the Year.
I feel this one was MUCH better than Titanic.

Get On the Bus

No special effects here, just great filmaking.
In a time when CGI effects are getting old,
the cinematography of this movie is a nice sight
for sore eyes.  The characters are very well developed
and realistic.  
And, its a nice, simple setting with an amazing plot.  Well written.

MIB

What makes this movie one of my favs is not just its quality,
but the absolute fun I had seeing it with my friends,
dancing in the theatre to the credit themes.....

Hackers

Ive only seen this one twice, but its still on my list.
This is just a fun movie.  Doesn't matter if its not 
completely realistic.  It's fun.

Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade

In my opinion, the best of the Trilogy.
Sean Connery is such a great actor!
Teamed up with Harrison Ford, it makes for a movie
that is just pure gold.

Fun. Need I say more?



Pete's Dragon

This is one of my first favorite movies.  
My bed looks kinda like the one in it,
that's probably why i got it.  There 
are things in that movie that
I still do by instinct.  I watched 
that one over and over and 
over.  

Dumbo

   Dumbo, one of my first 
favorite movies. Love the cute little Dumbo and the message. The crows are awesome, 
and the scene with his mother
just gets you.

Clue

This is also a very fun movie. 
 Classic whodunit meets Comedy. 
 I recommend this one for a night with friends.  
Or a night without friends.  
Whatever. It's a versitile film.

Blade

FUN ACTION MOVIE.
The only movie on my list that you can
 still see in the theatres.
  Make sure you can handle 
the blood though. 
Cause there's a lot of it.

Jurassic Park

 This film is credited with being the first film that 
made me scream in a movie theatre and put me 
at the edge of my seat.  Great special effects, I remember I
kept trying to figure it out.  CGI?  What's CGI?
A HELL OF A LOT BETTER THAN THE SEQUEL.  Ahem.

Robin Hood: Men In Tights

  The second Mel Brooks movie to take a place on my list.
Also, the second Cary Elwes movie on here. 
Anyone see a pattern?

The Professional..aka Leon

  Great movie.  Erin introduced this one to me.
This movie also introduces a good actress,
Natalie Portman.  She's cool.  Watch this if 
you wanna know how to clean...

The Fifth Element

 If you're looking for high-quality FUN FUN FUN!!!  Watch
this movie....this movie is great.
Also, if you're a guy, you might want to watch
for Milla.  MY guy friends loved her.



Romeo & Juliet (both versions)

The original is a classic.  
The new version is a spectacular 
work of art.  
In both cases, the interpretations are superb.
