Well it was a chance to get in touch with nature, and a different side of Tuscany. The hilltop towns of the Fiora Valley include Sovana, Sorano, Pitigliano, Saturnia, Montemerano, and Manciano. My group hiked through the hills, stopping in these towns along the way. We saw ancient Etruscan ruins, bathed in a natural hot spring, and saw some of the most beautiful country in Italy.
The tour guide said I looked like a "Botticelli" |
