"What Am I Worth"
by

Jo Ann Mann

I am a baby elephant

Growing inside my mother

What am I worth?

Someday humans will kill me for my tusks

Man will let me be born for my worth

My Mommy wants me just for me

I am a little puppy

Growing inside my mother

What am I worth?

Someday I will love and guard my master

Man will let me be born for I will be his pet

My Mommy wants me just for me

I am a Spotted Owl

Growing inside the egg my mother laid

What am I worth?

Man will let me born because he protected me from the start

My Mommy wants me just for me

I am a little kitty

Growing inside my mother

What am I worth?

Man will let me be born for I am cute and cuddly

My Mommy wants me just for me

I am a baby seal

Growing inside my mother

What am I worth?

Man will let me be born so he can have my skin

My Mommy wants me just for me

I am a baby rattlesnake

Growing inside my mother

What am I worth?

Not much to man, but he will let me be born

My Mommy wants me just for me

I am a baby human

Growing inside my mother

What am I worth?

My mother doesn’t want me

She thinks I have no worth

I wish my Mommy would want me just for me

I am Jesus Christ

Growing inside my mother

What am I worth?

More to mankind than all the creatures of the earth

My Mommy wants me just for me

To all the babies who are not yet born

What are you worth?

You are priceless in the eyes of your Heavenly Father

God wants you for Himself!
