LLICLLA (Woman´s Mantle) early 20th century. From Huchy Llucllo, Highland sector of Pitumarca District, Cusco. Alpaca wool. Supplementary Warp weave on a paired-warp ground alternating with bands of plain warp weave. Wide diversity of agricultural motifs: Sara (Maize) Pallay, Papa (Potato) Pallay, Cocha (Lake) Pallay, Chacra (Plowed Fields) Pallay and others. Separately attached edge binding with complementary embroidery. Of great ethnographic interest. Dimensions: 55 cm. x 65 cm.
