Pangaea

Pangaea was purchased on 5/07/2002. Pangaea's colors aren't easy to describe. At first glance she looks like your typical "Cow mouse"... black broken marked. But some of her spots are actually very salt-and-pepperish, which means that she is either a broken marked merle, or a variegated mouse. The first test mating should truly help to determine if she is Variegated, since half her babies should be variegated when crossed with a black self mouse. (In this case a black tan mouse) Otherwise time alone will tell if she is broken marked merle.

I don't know all of her genetics. What I believe to be true is the following::

a/a B/* C/* D/* P/* s/s [W or Rnme)

  1. at = tan
  2. B = No Brown
  3. C = Full Color (not albino)
  4. D = Full Color (No dilution)
  5. P = black eyes
  6. s = white spotting
  7. W = variegated
  8. Rnme = Merle
