Surprise
While visiting a petstore that sold only male mice, I was playing with the mice and noticed they had one that was an albino. Now that in itself is unusual as they normally don't have albinos in the pet bins. Then I realized that she was a girl. Since the store had a strict policy on male/female intermingling, I was concerned for the little girl. Then I heard her sneeze. Plus she was so docile in my hands. I brought her up to the front to confront the petstore people with the fact that they most likely had a pregnant female mouse in their male mouse enclosure. (well she was, at the moment she was in my hands). I offered to take her off their hands, and they gratefully allowed me to keep her. I named her Surprise since it was a surprise for me to pick up another albino girl mouse.
Surprise's genetics are a complete mystery. I will fill in the table as she has litters and her genetics become known:A:*/* B:*/* c/c D:*/* P:*/*
- A = Agouti
- B = full colour
- c = albino
- D = no blue dilution
- P = Black eyes
