Restore & Colour an old pic

 

Here you can see like with the Photoshop we can restore an old photograph.
The photo is about 10x15 cm, it was scanned with a HP flat scan.
We can see the scratches and the defects in the original copy.

First of all I remove the yellow color changing the pic from color RGB to monotone.
In order to correct all the defects I used the photoshop to replace the scratches areas with normal areas.

 

 

 

In this second image we can see how all the defects have been corrected, I have also correct the bright and the contrast and remove the yellow color.

The copy around 1910 should be more or less like this.
