Re: 1914 not seeing the kingdom introduced, it would be good to mention the warnings about too great of expectations that Bro. Russell gives from 1910 onward. Also Jim Parkinson has noted the conflicting expectations in the convention report sermons for 1914. (Hagensick) Concerning the layoff of 70 workers in 1915, I would mention the disappointments with the Canadian gold mine stocks given to the Society and the plan to provide old age income for retiring pilgrims by selling cemetery plots.
