PAUL IS DEAD
I feel that I must inform the public about this scandal....Paul McCartney is dead! The man you see today and even saw in the late 60s is not the real Paul McCartney. The story is as follows:
On one Wednesday morning, at 5 o'clock, in 1965, Paul McCartney was in a horrible car accident. This happened when he was alone in his car, taking a ride, and then he suddenly saw a lovely parking meter maid named Rita. When he took his eyes off the road, he didn't notice that the lights had changed, and he crashed into another speeding car. In this horrible crash, everything from his fingers breaking to him losing his hair happened. That morning's paper was going to feature an interview with Paul. The newspaper editor decided at the last minute to not release that day's paper. Indeed, Wednesday morning's paper didn't come.
In late 1965, the surviving Beatles held a look-a-like contest for a Paul replacement. The winner was a young man named William Campbell. This man made his first appearance as Paul in 1965 on the cover of Rubber Soul. Starting on Revolver, the Beatles and Campbell started putting clues in their lyrics and other places about McCartney's demise.
