my experience with the music of Gospel Gangstas

I had not heard OF nor HEARD Gospel Gangstas before I first bought the actual tape. I just saw the album on the shelf and thought with such a cool name and cool cover they couldn't be all that bad. So, I bought the cassette and went home and listened to it.

When I first turned on I wasn't quite attracted to it because of the fact that the intro is kind of (now I think it's awesome, but it's kinda... when you first listen to it) wierd. I was listening to it at night and it kinda freaked me out. (remember this was about 2 or 3 years ago) But, once the intro finished out it got into the music. MAN, this stuff rocks!! That is what I thought and I knew I was going to enjoy this music.

I don't remember when I bought the cd, but I did. I gave my cassette version of it to a friend of mine in Germany. He loved it. So did some of the other youths in my youth group over there. I remember how good it felt to be playing Christian music and to have them say to me "This is pretty good". It was kind of a connecting thing between me and some of my peers there... good music with a REALLY good message.

Since then I have enjoyed listening to that cd (BTW the album is called Gang Affiliated) and the new one called Do or Die. (Do or Die is not as good as Gang Affiliated) The O double G's (as they call themselves) are an awesome rap group that I would suggest to anyone who like that type of music and is tired of the obscene language and gesteres presented in much of secular rap.
