That fateful day finally came. I hoped it never would, and truthfully never thought it would. That day when you hear (see) the words "I think we should just be friends" that end the relationship beyond friends.
No, it was not a shocking "out of the blue" one sided announcement. Rather, it was a decision made based upon given facts and upon the doubt. Yet it still hurt and is still an adjustment.

Kathryn is beautiful, both inside and out. Her kindness is beyond words, her sweetness beyond compare. I am blessed to be her friend and to have been her c-guy for as long as I was.

She is an excellent poet. I am honored to have a couple of poems that she wrote for me on here. First one is one that she wrote for me shortly after we first started really "talking." It is called Thank you, friend. The other one is a poem she wrote for me February 1998 and it is called Oceans.

Her handles in WBS Christian chat include HeavnChld777 (the handle she was using when I first met her), I am a Peanut, Heaven's Little Poet, and Lost in Him (her current handle). Because of her, and inside joke with her friends, I got my handle of I am an almond. I also have the handles of Knight for Peanut and heaven's big poet because of her, her handles, and my feelings toward her.

You can visit her homepage #1(an old one), her homepage #2(the one that she made by herself), and of course the page I am helping her create.

some of the poems that I have written for her

these are the best of the poems I wrote to her:

        Thank you, Kathryn
        conversation heart
        like an amethyst
        completely speechless
        who is she?
        my teddy bear
        statue
        shallow pool
        your beautiful love
        still
        synonyms II
        fragments of a pointless endeavor
        beautiful words
        you're beautiful, Kathryn
        for her, for you
