POSSIBLE WORLDS
(Robert Lepage, 2000)

Lepage is present in the polished visuals and the thoughtful continuity but he can't dress up the central dumbness of the script. A murderer who might as well leave his business card slices off skulls and removes brains. One of the victims ruminates on consciousness and the existence of infinite selves living out all the possibilities. Several of these are shown and in all of them Tilda Swinton's laser diction makes her seem like she's in a different movie.
