THE SIXTH DAY (Roger Spottiswoode) 1.5

[Note to self: Vow never to see another Schwarzenegger movie where he doesn't play a robot from the future.]

Cloning Arnold results in two soul-deadening performances instead of one and nothing in THE SIXTH DAY makes up for the resulting entertainment vacuum. Where's the danger with the geek tycoon à la Bill Gates of the biotech world and his too many henchmen too often sacrificed for laughs? Obviously tacked-on "gee whiz" sequences (I guess the remote control was aimed for guy demographic to drool over) so derivative it makes no difference whether Arnold is a helicopter pilot or a taxi driver doing donuts on an icy parking lot - or did Bruce Willis already do that in THE SIXTH ELEMENT?
