HISTORY: William, the only born son of Feliciano and Leonora, grew up differently than others, but it was always in the company of his cousins, whom he considers as his brothers and sisters. One night after coming home from a party, he realized that it was past his curfew and decided to take a shortcut home. However, the shortest route to his house was in a bad part of the city. So, he walked hurriedly through the pass, expecting the worse. True to form he encountered a group of men who were obviously on drugs, and began to threaten him with knives for money. In a state of panic, his powers suddenly emerged and he was able to cast an illusion of a giant beast with fangs and claws, frightening the men away. Not exactly sure what had happened, he decided to keep the incident to himself. But over the following months he began to train himself in the use of his powers. His activities, though secret, were soon discovered by the government, and Atty. Marrero, chairman of the Committee of Superhuman Affairs, who offered him membership into a group of mutants, formed to defend the country. He agreed, and the group was called QWILLLE.
