The Turnip

Once upon a time an Old Man planted a turnip seed.

Turnip grew and grew, and became enormous and huge.

Old Man decided to pull it out. Pulling and pulling, can't

pull it out. Old Man called his wife: "Come, Wife, help me

pull out the Turnip". Old man is tugging at the Turnip, his

Wife at Old Man, can't pull it out.

Wife called the Granddaughter: "Come, Granddaughter,

help us pull out the Turnip". Old man is tugging at the

Turnip, his wife at Old Man, Granddaughter at the Wife,

can't pull it out. Granddaughter called the Dog: "Come,

Dog, help us pull out the Turnip". Old man is tugging at

the Turnip, his wife at Old Man, Granddaughter at the

Wife, Dog at the Granddaughter, can't pull it out.

Dog called the Cat: "Come, Cat, help us pull out

the Turnip". Old man is tugging at the Turnip, his wife

at Old Man, Granddaughter at the Wife, Dog at the

Granddaughter, Cat at the Dog, can't pull it out. Cat

called then the Mouse: "Come, Mouse, help us pull out

the Turnip". Old man is tugging at the Turnip, his wife at

Old Man, Granddaughter at the Wife, Dog at the

Granddaughter, Cat at the Dog, Mouse at the Cat, and

pulled out the Turnip.
