A terrible pun - we readily confess it. But also one we couldn't resist.
For a similar pun, in a much better work of literature, see Romeo and Juliet, act 3, scene 1. Mercutio, on being run through (and done for), tells Romeo, "ask for me to-morrow, and you shall find me a grave man." Good one!
