Dance of the Cherries

Higher and higher, the stars burn bright
Inhaling the fumes which give delight
Burning and burning until all is ash
Gathering the strength for the final dash
Smoking and smoking, the flame is extinguished
The star's sweet power is soon relinquished
Spinning and spinning through the sky
Drifting down from the fabulous high
Faster and faster approaching the ground
The star in the sky will no longer be found
